Hospitality Ministry

Cornerstone of an inviting culture!

The first "i" in our "iFour" Strategy stands for "invite." We want to build a culture of invitation that beckons people outside the church to come on in! This will be a wasted effort if we fail to make "iFour" an inviting place on the inside.

The Hospitality ministry seeks to make "iFour" an inviting place when people get here. Our hospitality ministry includes greeters in the parking lot, building entrances, and inside our auditorium. The hospitality ministry will provide "need-to-know" information for new guests, including directing guests to places such as bathrooms, children's areas, and the refreshment area.

Our hospitality ministry will ensure our guests are treated to snacks and refreshments and that they have an opportunity to meet our pastor and other key leaders.

It is difficult to understate just how important the hospitality is to the health of "iFour." People decide within the first seven minutes of their first visit whether they will ever return to a church, so you can see the hospitality ministry is so important. But you don't need to know how to play music or have a ton of Bible verses memorized to succeed in this ministry! What you need is a smiling face and a heart for people.

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
